RETINA at Laser World of Photonics, booth EW.1000.1
Laser World of Photonics is the main biennial trade fair and congress for photonics, held in Munich. In 2025, it runs from June 24 to 27 and brings together manufacturers, researchers, and end-users to show and discuss lasers, optical components, biomedical optics, 3D printing, and related technologies. The accompanying World of Photonics Congress (June 22–27) offers over 3,600 presentations by academic and industry experts (including Nobel laureates), while World of Quantum (June 24–27) focuses on quantum applications like sensing and computing.
Visitors can explore themed exhibition halls, attend workshops and technical talks, and network with international professionals. Exhibitors get dedicated space and advisory services to highlight their latest innovations. Press accreditation grants free access to all events. Parallel to this, the automatica robotics fair overlaps (June 24–27), creating cross-industry opportunities.
The World of Photonics network also includes annual events in Shanghai (China) and Bangalore (India), each tailored to its regional market. The Munich event emphasizes sustainability with “GoGreen” ticket options and eco-friendly practices. Past editions drew over 1,350 exhibitors and 27,000+ visitors from 90+ countries.
