RETINA will attend PIC International to present its photonics-enabled sensing technologies and their impact on advanced imaging applications. Among its key demonstrations, RETINA will highlight a multimodal surgery support system designed to visualize tissue lesions during surgical procedures. By combining spectral imaging, short-range LIDAR, and RGB sensing, the system enables precise detection and measurement of tissue lesions even in challenging conditions such as the presence of blood, illustrating the potential of integrated photonic technologies for next-generation medical devices.
